from the Just Beyond Series (Disney+), this is the 1970's van that transforms into a spaceship at the end of Season 1 Episode 2 (Parents are from Mars, Kids are from Venus). For the effect, I had to create an accurate and photorealistic, digital replica of the set vehicle that had been used for the family car. The futuristic elements that make up the spaceship then had to be concepted and digitally modeled. The animation artist, effects artist, and I worked together to create the transformation. This was a fun, and very satisfying sequence to be a part of.
